Reel wise Revo Toro Beast 50 and 60, Conquest 400, tranx 400 and Ryoga Shrapnel balanced the rod better than a 300 series reel, for some it might be a minor detail but personally I get annoyed by having to ‘correct’ the tip during every cast.

A minus has to be when a smaller fish is hooked, it comes straight in. This is a teeny tiny minus since the rod is built for duck size lures and fish that feast on geese for breakfast.

Guides are Fuji K’s, good number of them and no wear visible after 3 months of fishing on brackish water of the Baltic.
