The AMBUSH is purpose-designed for accuracy casting using big-baits, it's a real Australian ‘swimbait’ casting rod.

A technical swim bait rod for at 7’0” overall length, the AMBUSH is incredibly well balanced, and amazingly sensitive! Super-light in the hand, but packing enough punch to target the biggest of fish. Actual rod weight just 160g!

These attributes also make the AMBUSH an ideal rod for the modern fishing approach of using a livescope to identify fish and then cast to them. This rod is light enough to hold in the hand for the entire session, and short enough to allow the lure to rest on the bow right under the rod tip in readiness for the cast.

Well suited to casting lures in the 60-180gm (2-5oz) bracket, this model has a nicely practical sweet spot of casting weights between 75-120gm, covering a wide variety of popular big-baits including offerings from international brands such as Megabass
